About the Role
Genoa Healthcare is a pharmacy care services company that is part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group. We serve behavioral health and addiction treatment communities by providing personalized services, including in-clinic pharmacies and medication management.
Hours
- 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
- Specific hours will be determined by the site being covered.
Location
- Based out of the St. Paul and Minneapolis area.
- Willingness to travel to sites throughout MN, such as Duluth, Mankato, and Winona, when business needs arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
- Fill prescription orders for verification by a registered pharmacist.
- Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
- Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
- Verify medication stock and enter data to maintain inventory records.
- Assist the Pharmacist with pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
- Perform various clerical duties.
- Communicate effectively using professional verbal and written skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Minnesota.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Valid US driver's license.
- Ability to use your own car to travel to locations as business needs arise.
Qualifications
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred)
- 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience (Preferred)
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $16.00 to $29.00 per hour.
