About the Role
Therapy with Alex G is expanding its private practice in Santa Barbara and seeking Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFTs) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselors (APCCs). The goal is to create a supportive environment for associates to gain clinical experience, develop confidence, and work towards licensure.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain clinical experience.
- Develop confidence in clinical work.
- Move toward licensure.
- Work with children, teens, college students, and adults.
- Gain experience with a variety of clients.
- Build a consistent caseload in private practice.
The Position Offers
- W-2 employment with a 50/50 fee split.
- Individual clinical supervision.
- Flexible scheduling.
- Client referrals and marketing support.
- In-person office space in downtown Santa Barbara, with telehealth opportunities.
- Ongoing clinical guidance and consultation.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Must be an AMFT or APCC.
- Compassionate, curious, and dependable.
- Excited about growing clinical skills.

Qualifications
- Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) license.
- Interest in private practice.
- Focus on anxiety, OCD, ADHD, relationships, and life transitions.
