About the Role
Optum is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Temple City, CA. This role focuses on patient care rather than volume, allowing clinicians to dedicate the necessary time to address patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
- Manage an average patient volume of 18-20 patients per day.
- See patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatric patients.
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- EMR Proficiency
- Advanced EMR system in place
Qualifications
- New Graduates Welcome
- Unrestricted CA License
- CA DEA certificate (required prior to start date)
- Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant school
