Cashier / Food Runner

About the Role

Pura Vida Miami is a lifestyle brand focused on providing simple, wholesome food and beverage items with an intimate, yet fast and consistent, customer experience. We are offering an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and ever-growing brand.

Compensation: $21-$22/hour (including tips)

• $15/hour base + $6-$7/hour in tips (based on recent averages)

Key Responsibilities

• Cashier:

• Welcome all guests and provide an inviting and memorable experience.

• Efficiently and accurately take customer orders using the POS system.

• Provide the highest level of customer service, addressing questions and requests promptly and courteously.

• Have a thorough understanding of menu items, including ingredients, allergies, and benefits.

• Assist in preparing and delivering food, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

• Restock stations regularly to ensure they are clean, organized, and fully stocked.

• Follow all policies and procedures for health and food safety.

• Collaborate with management and team members to maintain smooth operations and a positive work atmosphere.

• Support with any additional duties assigned.

• Food Runner:

• Deliver food and beverages, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.

• Regularly check on guests to ensure satisfaction.

• Follow all policies and procedures for health and food safety.

• Collaborate with management and team members to maintain smooth operations and a positive work atmosphere.

• Support with any additional duties assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Previous experience in the hospitality and/or food service industry (e.g., restaurant, hotel).
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fun and outgoing attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
