About the Role
Performs clerical duties, order and data entry utilizing multiple computer systems. Effectively communicate and facilitate all departmental orders and results to ED staff. Serves as front-line departmental ambassador in customer service. Maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external personnel. Work in conjunction with the ED team in order to expedite patient care and throughput and provide excellent quality care in a family oriented hospital setting.

Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Qualifications
- High School, Certificate, GED, Training, Experience.
- Previous experience as a Unit Secretary/Adm Partner is desired.
- Completion of a medical terminology course or previous experience in admitting/emergency or physician office is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution.

- Customer service skills and/or orientation.
- Exhibits flexibility in scheduling to adapt to special circumstances.
- Ability to multitask.
Boca/Bethesda Only: BLS certification obtained within 6 months for employees hired prior to 4/30/2023.
