This opening is at a multi-warehouse distribution center for a large Midwest retailer, with multiple officers on duty.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery Access Control: Check in/out Semi Truck deliveries at the Guard House using computer software.
• Patrolling: Walk the interior and exterior of buildings, monitoring for security, safety, or maintenance issues.
• Mobile Patrol: Drive the security vehicle around the site, patrolling parking lots and building exteriors.
• Warehouse Access Control: Ensure client employees complete COVID health screenings and provide next steps based on results.
• Dispatching: Follow procedures for dispatching personnel for emergency and non-emergency responses.
• Monitoring: Accurately and quickly utilize computer-aided software and monitor CCTV systems with recording devices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must pass a criminal background check (no felony convictions).
• Must pass a drug test (at hire and randomly thereafter).
• Must present a friendly, positive, and professional image.
• Willing to become CPR/1st Aide/AED Certified.
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record:
• Less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• Less than 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years.
• No other major violations in the last 3 years.
• Physical Requirements:
• Able to sit, stand, or walk for the duration of the shift, including long distances and stairs.
• Able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Readily able to respond to emergency situations.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
