Key Responsibilities
- Support lead teachers in daily classroom activities
- Prepare materials
- Organize learning stations
- Assist with instruction in core subjects
- Help students with classwork
- Reinforce lessons
- Supervise children during transitions, meals, and recess
- Promote positive behavior and classroom routines
- Communicate with teachers about student progress
- Maintain a clean and orderly classroom
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Support small group activities
- Provide one-on-one assistance to students
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as needed
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Background or interest in Education and child development
- Ability to assist with Mathematics and basic academic subjects
- Patience, reliability, and the ability to follow instructional guidance
- Capacity to stand, walk, and actively engage with children throughout the school day
- Willingness to complete any required background checks and adhere to school policies
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Assistant Teaching and classroom support
- Strong Communication abilities with students, families, and staff
- Experience Working With Children in school or childcare settings
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or degree in Education or related field preferred
