About the Role
TCS Interactive is seeking an Associate Visual Designer for its New York studio. This role is for an individual early in their career with a strong design sensibility. You will work on software for major institutions in sectors such as banking, healthcare, retail, and transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design screens, components, layouts, and iconography.
- Create motion studies and pitch boards.
- Develop typography and color within a design system.
- Contribute to products and new business pitches.
- Work on projects that are built and go live at scale.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Portfolio with a clear point of view, showcasing school projects, personal projects, or internship work.
- Ability to articulate design decisions with well-reasoned arguments.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools for exploration and variation.
- Experience thinking in terms of flows and systems.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience or recent graduate with relevant work.
- Based in New York.
- Strong attention to detail in typography, spacing, and color.
- References from diverse sources beyond design feeds (e.g., books, films, architecture).
- BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
