About the Role
Katyayani Organics is hiring a Public Relations Executive to help communicate the company's identity to the outside world.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day of Katyayani's public voice: press releases, LinkedIn (company page), Twitter, employee-review platforms, and media kits.
- Build and maintain a live media list of 100+ journalists across Indian business, agri, and technology media.
- Track every media mention.
- Draft founder-voice content: LinkedIn long-form, quote cards, podcast prep notes, using the internal narrative repository.
- Coordinate 3-6 podcast appearances and 1-2 event sponsorships per quarter for the founder, managing logistics, prep, brief, follow-up, and repurposing into short-form clips.
- Run outreach to PR agencies and manage vendor relationships.
- Respond to journalist inbounds within one business day.
- Report weekly on key metrics: founder + company follower growth, post reach, press mentions, employee reviews live, and application-quality lift.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in holding a spreadsheet, a Google Doc, and a phone call open simultaneously.
- Fluency in English + Hindi. Any additional Indian language is a plus.
Qualifications
- A recent graduate in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field, or someone with 1-3 years in PR, corporate comms, or agency experience. Freshers are welcome.
- Ability to write plainly and concisely.
- Comfort with a factory town environment, as Katyayani is headquartered in Bhopal.
- Curiosity about agriculture, manufacturing, and how AI is built within a company.
- Access to a written voice guide, press release template, and full narrative repository.
- Desire for ownership of a public communications function.
