Tripzy is an AI-powered travel planning and concierge platform for India, designed for Gen Z and young professionals. The platform helps users discover off-beat destinations and plan complete trips, including itineraries, stays, and transport. Tripzy is incubated at Bennett Hatchery Foundation, backed by Times Group, and is currently scaling its product, user base, and booking capabilities.

About the Role

As Tripzy transitions from an MVP to a full product, this role focuses on the core booking experience. The Software Development Intern will work on the website and end-to-end booking flow, from selection to payment, confirmation, and post-booking support. This position offers direct collaboration with the founders on a live product with real users, with ownership of actual features.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and improve features across the Tripzy website, including frontend and backend development.
• Develop components of the booking flow: search, selection, pricing, payment, confirmation, cancellations, and refunds.
• Integrate third-party travel APIs (hotels, transport, partner platforms) and payment gateways, ensuring robust error handling.
• Build features for the vendor and partner platform.
• Develop user account features such as vouchers, referrals, rewards, and promotions.
• Collaborate with the AI and data team to integrate recommendations and itineraries smoothly into the product.
• Assist in deploying and monitoring the product on cloud infrastructure and resolving bugs.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Prior internship or real project experience building web applications, with at least one live or deployed project.
• Solid skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern frontend framework, specifically React.
• Working knowledge of a backend language such as Python or Node.js, and experience building REST APIs.
• Good understanding of SQL databases and Git.
• Prior work experience with cloud infrastructures like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed B.Tech / BCA / MCA or a related field.
• Must provide links to a live project or GitHub profile showcasing detailed work.

Good to Have

• Experience integrating payment gateways or third-party APIs.
• Experience with cloud deployment (GCP or AWS) and CI/CD.
• Experience building e-commerce, booking, or marketplace features.
• Experience with React Native or mobile app development.
• Experience with LLM APIs.
