Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day safety activities in production and utility areas.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and report unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Support implementation of safety procedures, SOPs, and permit-to-work systems.
• Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness activities.
• Ensure proper usage of PPE by employees and contractors.
• Assist in incident reporting, investigation, and corrective action implementation.
• Conduct safety awareness programs and toolbox talks.
• Maintain safety records, registers, and statutory compliance documentation.
• Support fire prevention and emergency response activities.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to promote a safe working environment.
