About the Role

The Picker role at Supportive Career's Pvt Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately locate, select, and gather items from storage shelves or racks according to order lists or instructions.
• Check product codes and quantities.
• Prepare items for packing and dispatch.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the storage area.
• Use basic tools or handheld devices (where applicable) to track inventory movements.
• Ensure orders are completed on time.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Handle products carefully to avoid damage.
• Coordinate with supervisors and colleagues to support smooth warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and pay close attention to details such as product codes and quantities.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations, including picking, sorting, and organizing goods in a structured manner.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk through storage areas, and lift or move packages within safe weight limits.
• Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills to verify item counts and support inventory accuracy.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines, use appropriate protective equipment, and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Good time management and reliability, including punctual attendance and the ability to meet daily picking targets.
• Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and team members and communicate clearly when issues or discrepancies arise.
• Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail stock handling is an advantage but not mandatory; on-the-job training may be provided.
