About the Role

Mitr-Home Ops & The Living Craft is an emerging venture focused on building thoughtful, technology-enabled solutions for home operations and everyday living. Based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, the organization explores the intersection of data, automation, and human-centered design to improve quality of life at home. Teams work collaboratively across engineering, AI, and operational functions to create scalable products and services. Interns have the opportunity to contribute directly to core projects, gain exposure to early-stage innovation, and learn in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The Intern AI & Engineering role is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Bengaluru Area.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of software components.
• Contribute to AI or data-driven features.
• Support integration of tools and systems used in home operations.
• Help with documentation.
• Perform basic troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with product and operations teams to refine requirements and improve solutions.
• Learn and apply engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews or technical discussions.
• Support experiments or prototypes that enhance the company’s technology stack.

Qualifications

• Foundational skills in programming (e.g., Python, Java, or similar) and basic software development practices.
• Interest or coursework in Agentic AI, machine learning, or data science, including understanding of core concepts and algorithms.
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured data, perform basic analysis, and interpret results to inform product decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Comfort working on-site in the Greater Bengaluru Area and managing full-time internship responsibilities.
• Previous project experience (academic or personal) in software, automation, or AI is a plus.
