Video Editor

About the Role

This is a remote internship role for a Video Editor involving creating, editing, and polishing video content that supports Synottic’s human-centered AI initiatives and educational programs. The Video Editor will work with the creative and marketing teams to assemble raw footage, apply transitions, add audio, and ensure visual consistency across channels. This is an internship position with a focus on learning, skill development, and contribution to real-world projects in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize video assets.
• Perform color correction.
• Integrate graphics or motion elements.
• Adapt content for different platforms and formats.
• Collaborate on storyboards.
• Follow brand guidelines.
• Contribute ideas to improve viewer engagement and clarity of complex AI-related topics.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or equivalents).

• Skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
• Skills in Video Color Grading.
• Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong time management.
• Ability to follow creative direction while working independently in a remote setting.
• Interest in AI, technology, or education-focused content.
• Willingness to learn about human-centered AI concepts.
• Portfolio or samples demonstrating video editing and motion work.
• Current students or recent graduates in media, film, design, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
