Business Consulting, Supply Chain Procurement
EY
About the Role
EY’s Supply Chain practice helps organizations transform procurement through improved processes, operating models, and technology. As a Digital Procurement Technology Senior Consultant, you will help clients design and deliver Source-to-Pay transformation programs using ZIP, GEP, and other leading procurement platforms. You will work across the implementation lifecycle, translating business needs into process designs, functional requirements, solution configurations, test scenarios, and deployment deliverables. You will collaborate with procurement, supply chain, finance, and IT stakeholders, technology vendors, and EY project teams while owning assigned workstreams and supporting junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess current-state procurement processes and help design future-state Source-to-Pay processes.
- Facilitate workshops with procurement, supply chain, finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and solution designs.
- Evaluate how procurement technology, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities can improve performance, controls, and the user experience.
- Identify process, technology, data, integration, and organizational gaps and develop practical recommendations.
- Apply knowledge of ZIP, GEP, or comparable Source-to-Pay platforms to support solution design, configuration, and validation.
- Support delivery across mobilization, design, configuration, build, data, integration, testing, deployment, training, stabilization, and transition.
- Develop test scenarios and scripts, coordinate testing activities, document defects, and support resolution and retesting.
- Prepare requirements documents, decision materials, traceability matrices, status updates, and other client-ready deliverables.
- Maintain workplans and risk, action, issue, and decision logs, escalating risks and dependencies when appropriate.
- Coordinate with functional, technical, data, integration, change, vendor, and client teams to complete assigned deliverables.
- Build collaborative relationships with client stakeholders, technology vendors, and project team members.
- Guide junior team members, review work products, and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Support proposals, estimates, presentations, demonstrations, and solution-development activities.
- Contribute to reusable templates, accelerators, thought leadership, training materials, and knowledge-sharing activities.
Skills and Attributes for Success
To be successful in this role, you will need the ability to connect procurement and supply chain requirements to technology capabilities. You will be expected to structure complex issues, identify dependencies, and develop practical recommendations. You will also need to:

- Produce accurate, structured, and client-ready work.
- Communicate functional and technical topics clearly to business and IT audiences.
- Manage multiple priorities and escalate risks appropriately.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, flexibility, and responsiveness in a fast-paced client-service environment.
- Support junior colleagues and contribute to team quality and momentum.
- Understand how scope, effort, quality, and client outcomes affect successful delivery.
Qualifications
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience supporting procurement, Source-to-Pay, or broader supply chain transformation initiatives.
- Working knowledge of ZIP, GEP, or another leading procurement or Source-to-Pay platform.
- Experience contributing to at least one technology implementation lifecycle or delivering across multiple phases of an implementation.
- Experience with process design, requirements definition, configuration, testing, data, integrations, deployment, change management, or project management.
- The ability to translate business requirements into clear process, functional, and technology deliverables.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, organizational, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in person at an EY office and/or client location up to 50% of the time, based on client and project needs.

Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Experience with ZIP and/or GEP, including platform capabilities, configuration concepts, and AI-enabled functionality.
- Experience with multiple Source-to-Pay capabilities, industries, business units, or regional deployments.
- Experience with ERP, identity, master data, finance, risk, contract management, analytics, or other enterprise-system integrations.
- An understanding of responsible AI, data governance, security, privacy, controls, and change considerations.
