Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, provides nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse based on matching the patients’ needs with the nurse’ competencies. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.

Requirements & Tech Stack
- Registered Nurse license in Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ARC or AHA) on hire; must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
- AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (for Adult Critical Care, Telemetry, Interim Critical Care Units).
- Note: AHA PALS and AHA NRP are required for specific units (Pedi ICU, NICU) and have similar completion timelines.
- Note: S.T.A.B.L.E. for NICU is required for Level 2 Nursery.
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
- Zero years of experience required.
- Two years of experience in acute care is preferred.
- Previous clinical nursing experience in med/surg, telemetry, or ICU is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
