Founding Growth Marketer (Remote Worldwide)

About the Role

Matcha is a zero noise alternative to job boards, focused on simplicity and surfacing under-the-radar roles. We are looking for a marketer who thinks like a founder, able to quickly reach the right audience with a product people already love. This role will own the full funnel, run experiments, and build compelling storytelling to position Matcha as the obvious choice for ambitious job seekers.

Key Responsibilities

• Own viral and organic growth to make Matcha spread.
• Build virality into the product itself, including referral loops, shareable results, invite mechanics, and artifacts for sharing.
• Manage and grow social media presence on X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Substack, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Create content that travels, including hooks, threads, short-form video, and stories leveraging data.
• Find and manage influencer partnerships and grow the affiliate program.
• Run growth experiments with urgency, iterating on what works and discontinuing what doesn't.
• Own the full funnel, from first impression to signup to paid.
• Develop Matcha's brand voice and storytelling from early stage to breakout.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proven track record of growing and marketing a product at record speed, with quantifiable results.
• Experience making content take off organically on at least one platform and the ability to replicate this success.
• Experience designing a growth loop within a product (referrals, shareable results, invites) with demonstrated impact on signups, or possession of sharp, concrete ideas for such loops.
• Strong writer and storyteller across various formats, including posts, threads, scripts, and hooks.
• Comfortable acting as both strategist and executor.
• Founder mindset with a bias to action, ownership of outcomes, and a sense of urgency.
• Years of experience and education are not important; any experience level is welcome.
