Job Title: New Grad Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry
About the Role
- Provide nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse based on matching the patients’ needs with the nurse’ competencies.
- Complete established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Texas State License for Registered Nurse
- AHA Healthcare Provider BLS (American Heart Association) - Must be active on hire, or obtained within 60 days of hire.
- AHA ACLS (American Heart Association) - Must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role for applicable units. Should be completed before the end of the orientation period.
- AHA PALS (American Heart Association) - Must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role for PEDI ICU. Should be completed before the end of the orientation period.
- AHA NRP (American Heart Association) - Must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role for NICU.
- S.T.A.B.L.E. for NICU - Must provide proof of prior completion or obtain within 6 months of hire or transfer date into unit. (Renewal is not required).
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum Experience: None.
- Preferred Experience: Two years in acute care. Previous clinical nursing experience in med/surg, telemetry or ICU.
