About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Electrical Engineer role based in Mumbai. The role involves supporting the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for projects across RCSL’s service verticals, including logistics facilities, industrial sites, and infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical drawings.
• Assist in load calculations.
• Support power distribution and power system planning.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with senior engineers, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
• Perform site inspections.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Contribute to cost and time-effective solutions.
• Assist in documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives related to electrical systems and equipment.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals, including a strong understanding of core electrical principles and safety standards.
• Electrical Design and Power Distribution, with the ability to read and prepare drawings, layouts, and single-line diagrams.
• Power Systems, including basic knowledge of protection schemes, load flow, and system reliability.
• Ability to use standard engineering tools and software:
• AutoCAD or similar drafting tools.
• MS Office for documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Basic experience or internships in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure electrical projects are preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn from senior team members.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in teams.
• Readiness to visit project locations as required.
• Knowledge of Indian electrical codes, safety regulations, and relevant standards will be an added advantage.
