Summer 2027 Audit Associate

About the Role

Summer Audit Associate position at Armanino. The role involves working on all aspects of an audit from planning to execution and completion. The start date for this role is August 2, 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist and lead in the performance and documentation of audit procedures and preparation of workpapers.
• Contribute to the completion of audits, reviews, compilations, and various consulting engagements.
• Interpret and analyze financial statement data to form conclusions and prepare client deliverables.
• Thoroughly evaluate assigned areas of financial statements and identify potential points of risk.
• Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters.
• Identify and perform audit procedures over the design, implementation, and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Engage with client personnel, as well as the engagement team to develop further relationships.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
• Plan to complete 150 semester/225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2026 – August 2027 strongly preferred.
