Winter 2027 Audit Associate

About the Role

• Winter 2027 Audit Associate (Irvine) at Armanino.
• Start Date: January 4, 2027.
• Will work on all aspects of an audit, from planning to execution and completion.
• Tests or procedures performed under general supervision to collect sufficient evidence to assess whether clients' financial statements are free of material misstatement.
• Assist to ensure the completion of clients' annual reports and interact with clients to identify and resolve audit issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist and lead in the performance and documentation of audit procedures and preparation of workpapers.
• Contribute to the completion of audits, reviews, compilations, and various consulting engagements.
• Interpret and analyze financial statement data to form conclusions and prepare client deliverables.
• Thoroughly evaluate assigned areas of financial statements and identify potential points of risk.
• Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters.
• Identify and perform audit procedures over the design, implementation, and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Engage with client personnel, as well as the engagement team to develop further relationships.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.

Qualifications

• Plan to complete 150 semester/225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between May 2026 – December 2026 strongly preferred.
