About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and API Testing to join our Quality Engineering team. We want to hear from you if you excel at building robust automation suites, possess deep hands-on expertise in API validation, and are ready to join immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript / JavaScript).
- Execute comprehensive API Automation Testing (REST/SOAP services) using Playwright API Request Context, Postman, or REST Assured.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps).
- Identify, isolate, and log defects with detailed technical context and collaborate with development teams for fast resolution.
- Maintain high code quality standards for automation scripts and test data management.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Playwright Expertise: Strong practical experience in Web UI automation using Playwright.
- API Testing: Proven proficiency in functional and automated API testing (RESTful services, JSON/XML handling).
- Scripting Languages: Strong command over TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Version Control & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with Git and automated pipeline integrations.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
Mandatory Eligibility Criteria
- Immediate Joiner: Candidate MUST be able to join on or before 30th October.
- Face-to-Face Interview: Candidate MUST be available for 1 mandatory round of F2F interview at our nearest office location.
- Location: Must be located in or willing to relocate to Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, or Coimbatore.
