About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor to manage our project site in Sholinganallur. You will run daily site work, track all materials coming in, and lead the labour team so work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Management
• Supervise day-to-day activities at the construction site.
• Plan daily and weekly work schedules with the Site Engineer / Project Manager.
• Enforce safety rules: PPE, safe work practices and a clean site.
• Send daily progress reports to management.
• Material Management
• Receive and inspect all materials delivered to the site.
• Check quantity and quality against delivery challans and purchase orders.
• Keep accurate records of inward material, stock and daily consumption.
• Prevent wastage, theft and misuse of materials.
• Raise material requests early so work is not delayed.
• Labour Management
• Coordinate with labourers, subcontractors and mestris (labour supervisors).
• Assign daily tasks to workers and make sure they are carried out properly.
• Keep labour attendance and the manpower register.
• Resolve on-site issues and keep the team working well together.
• Make sure the work is properly organised and labour productivity stays high.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience as a site supervisor in construction.
• Basic knowledge of construction materials, measurements and drawings.
• Good leadership and people-management skills.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, WhatsApp reporting) preferred.
• Language Requirements:
• Tamil: Mandatory
• Telugu: Mandatory / Preferred
• English: Working knowledge required
• Other Requirements:
• Candidates living in or near Sholinganallur / OMR preferred.
• Must be willing to be on site full-time.
• Own two-wheeler preferred.
