Hostess/Sales Associate

About the Role

Lock & Load Miami is looking for an energetic, personable, and detail-oriented Hostess/Sales Associate to provide an outstanding guest experience. This role is the first point of contact for many visitors and is essential to creating a welcoming, informative, and memorable experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay: $23.50–$27.00 per hour
• Full-time employees are eligible for health insurance and additional benefits.
• Positions available: Full-time (40 hours/week) and Part-time (20–30 hours/week).

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with guests throughout the day.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (required).
• Spanish or additional languages are a plus.
• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, luxury retail, or tourism is preferred.
• Comfortable learning basic firearm safety and handling procedures (training provided).
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Experience using POS systems and reservation software is a plus.
• No prior firearms experience is required. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service from arrival to departure.
• Explain available experiences, packages, and services with confidence.
• Process sales using a restaurant-style POS system.
• Schedule reservations and manage bookings.
• Keep guest areas, retail space, classrooms, break room, and restrooms clean and organized.
• Help maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Learn firearm safety procedures and become knowledgeable about the firearms offered; competency is evaluated after training.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Assist with basic social media engagement when needed.

Schedule & Operating Hours

• Applicants should be available to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Monday–Friday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Training & Work Location

• Paid training provided.
• This is an in-person position. Remote work is not available.
