Entry Level Outside Sales

About the Role

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Small Business Services. This role targets clients and prospects with 1-49 employees within a defined geographic territory. You will identify and sign new clients for payroll, tax, human resources, benefits, and more, and sell additional solutions to existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Close sales, win business, and reach sales goals independently and collaboratively within your assigned geography.
• Implement a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
• Cultivate additional business within existing accounts by selling cloud-based human resources solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and your overall network.
• Demonstrate grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.
• Cultivate relationships, set appointments, gather leads from established business partners, assess client or prospect needs, and close business in the field.

Qualifications

• One to two years of prior work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or another relevant industry.
• Military experience is also accepted.
• A college degree is great but not required.
• Prior quota-carrying experience is a plus.
• Ability to successfully build a network and effectively use social media for sales is a plus.
