Pay Grade: 4
Salary: $5.50 - $16.20 Hourly
Employment Type: Executive Branch, Full Time, Eligible for Overtime Pay, 37.5 HR/WK
About the Role
The Kentucky Department of Parks is seeking a motivated team member with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service as a Serving Attendant. This role is a key front-of-house position at the Rowena Landing Restaurant at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly manner and maintain knowledge of the menu and park.
- Take food and beverage orders and serve meals, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Collect guest payments and accurately complete point-of-sale transactions.
- Clean and prepare tables for guests.
- Prepare rolled silverware and set up tables with linens when needed for groups.
- Sweep and mop the dining room, service kitchens, and surrounding areas.
- Maintain a professional appearance and follow departmental rules, regulations, and policies.
