About the Role
Adamson Insurance & Associates is hiring a Commercial Lines Service Specialist to help business clients with their insurance service needs. This role involves handling requests, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with clients, insurance companies, and teammates.
No insurance license is required; training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to commercial client requests by phone and email.
- Assist commercial clients with billing questions, take and process payments, prepare and send invoices, and coordinate billing-plan changes.
- Prepare certificates of insurance.
- Process assigned policy changes and follow up with insurance companies.
- Gather missing information and coordinate underwriting requests.
- Help prepare assigned commercial quotes for the teammate presenting them to the client.
- Keep client records, request status, and next steps accurate in agency software.
- Review pending work, follow up on outstanding items, and ask for help before a deadline is missed.
- Confirm that work is complete before closing a request.

Pay and Schedule
- Pay: $22 per hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Location: In-office in Ankeny, Iowa
