About the Role
As a Service Team Member at El Pollo Loco, you will bring the flavor to life by greeting guests, assembling orders, and helping prepare food. You are the spark behind unforgettable experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with restaurant team members and management to achieve operational goals, maintain a positive work environment, and uphold company standards.
- Greet and assist customers with their orders in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Continuously strive to meet or exceed customer expectations and satisfaction.
- Assist in preparing food items in strict compliance with company recipes and procedures. This may include preparation/assembly of various menu items, shredding chicken, preparing salsa/dressing, and condiment packing.
- Process and assemble customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Use suggestive selling to complete the customer experience and increase sales.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support restaurant operations.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Food Handler Certification (to be obtained promptly upon hire, adhering to EPL policy and state regulations)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred but not required.
- Ability to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the job.
