Millwork Accounting Technician

About the Role

Boise Cascade has an opening for a Millwork Accounting Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting and financial analysis activities, including the preparation of journal entries, ledger account reconciliation, financial statements, reports, and schedules.
• Prepare, complete, analyze, and report accounting transactions and system maintenance, ensuring integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.
• Provide financial support to the business, including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variations from budget.
• Maintain strong working relationships with customers.
• Conduct financial and business analyses and modeling using forecasts, financial statements, and other business inputs to assess risk, improvement opportunities, and potential costs/benefits.
• Responsibilities may include performing accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, credit and collection, and sales rebate duties.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• HS Diploma, GED, or two (2) years equivalent work experience.
• Office environment with minimal physical exertion.
• Requires effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• More than three (3) years of experience in a related job function.
• Role may require technical certification or an associate's degree.
