About the Role
QuadScore Insurance Services, a high growth company founded in 2018, is seeking an Underwriting Specialist to join their team in Sandy Springs, Georgia. This in-office, entry-level position involves handling underwriting administrative needs and contributing to the growth of the organization. The role requires comfort with moderate ambiguity and finding solutions to new problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Review applications and perform initial underwriting for cannabis accounts
- Identify and gather relevant account information for new business and renewal policy activity
- Participate with Underwriters in renewal and new business activities supporting marketing and underwriting decisions consistent with growth and retention goals
- Process endorsements, policy changes, and account renewals
- Assess clients’ current insurance placements for strengths and deficiencies
- Work directly with specialized insurance brokers to develop business relationships
- Schedule inspections and monitor for compliance with recommendations
- Manage account documentation
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Able to work effectively in an early stage, high growth environment
- Willingness to learn quickly in a constantly-evolving environment
- Strong math and analytical skills with an emphasis on problem-solving
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and G-Suite products
- Commercial property & casualty experience helpful but not required
- Property & Casualty License Required after 2 months of employment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Risk Management & Insurance degree preferred)
