Role: Assistant to Designer and Merchandiser

Company: Tiger Girls LLP (fashion brand Peachoo)

Location: New Delhi (On-site, Full-time)

Key Responsibilities

• Support the designer and merchandising team in day-to-day tasks.
• Coordinate samples.
• Track styles and orders.
• Maintain product and fabric records.
• Assist with mood boards.
• Assist with basic design documentation.
• Assist with collection planning.
• Organize fittings.
• Note changes during fittings.
• Update spec sheets.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Comfort with maintaining spreadsheets, databases, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on deadlines.
• Basic understanding of fashion design processes, including styles, fabrics, trims, and collection planning.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Accuracy in record-keeping.
• A structured approach to sample and style tracking.
• Ability to work on-site in New Delhi.
• Ability to collaborate within a team.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced fashion environment.

Coursework or prior internship in fashion design processes preferred.

A relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production, or a related field is an advantage.

Prior internship or experience in fashion, apparel, or merchandising support roles will be considered a plus.
