About the Role

• Opportunity for CA Articled Assistants to gain experience beyond routine vouching in audit.
• Work with large numbers and gain exposure to significant clients.
• D. Pathak & Co has a history of working with public sector banks, SFIO, and C&AG since 1980.
• Current client portfolio includes 19 banks, with a track record of 400+ stock audits, 56+ forensic audits, and 11 specialized monitoring (ASM) assignments for large companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Bank statutory & concurrent audits
• Forensic audits (IBA & SFIO panels)
• Stock audits for SBI & other banks
• CIRP / IBC, due diligence & valuations
• World Bank, ADB & PSU project audits
• Statutory audits, ROC, Taxations
• Special monitoring of large corporates

Qualifications

• CA Final - MBA- CMA FINAL-CS Inter
• Graduate with ability to work with Financial Statements and understand core accounting principles.
• Experience or training in preparing and reviewing Audit Reports and related documentation.
• Strong Analytical Skills for examining data, identifying variances, and drawing logical conclusions.
• Exposure to or understanding of Financial Audits and audit procedures.
• Foundational knowledge of Finance, including basic financial concepts and reporting.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and accounting software, with attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact professionally with clients.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and a commitment to ethical and compliant work practices.
