About the Role

• This is a full-time Insurance Agent role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area.
• Structured as a hybrid position with a combination of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their financial protection needs.
• Explain suitable insurance products, including term, savings, and retirement plans.
• Generate and qualify leads.
• Conduct meetings and calls with customers.
• Present proposals and complete application documentation.
• Support clients through the policy issuance and servicing process.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and respond to policy-related queries.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams and participate in training.
• Stay up to date on product features and market developments.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to work with targets.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to handle both field visits and remote customer interactions in a hybrid model.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of local languages is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance.
• Ability to match customer needs to appropriate life insurance solutions.
• Knowledge of Insurance Brokerage and related industry practices, including regulatory and ethical standards.
• Solid understanding of Finance, personal financial planning, and basic investment and protection concepts.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, including responsiveness, empathy, and the ability to handle queries and concerns professionally.
• Relevant experience in life insurance, financial services, or sales is highly beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum educational qualification of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Professional certifications in insurance or finance are an added advantage.
