Job Title: Data Management Analyst
About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to manage, maintain, and analyze business data to support sales, marketing, and business operations. The role is responsible for ensuring high data quality, maintaining master data, developing reports and dashboards, supporting business users, and providing analytical insights that enable effective business decision-making and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain customer, product, sales and other business master data across multiple systems.
- Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards and business analysis.
- Perform data validation, cleansing and quality checks.
- Research and resolve data-related issues and user queries.
- Support business initiatives, system enhancements and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams.
- Identify opportunities for reporting automation and process optimization.
- Monitor key business metrics and prepare management reports.
Key Challenges
- Understanding business processes and data relationships.
- Managing large datasets across multiple systems.
- Ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Delivering timely and accurate reports.
- Supporting diverse stakeholders with evolving business needs.

Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a focus on data quality.
- Comfortable working across multiple business applications and large datasets.
- Ability to learn new systems and leverage AI-powered productivity tools.
- Proactive, adaptable and self-driven.
- Able to take ownership and use initiative, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong hands-on experience in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and other AI productivity tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI, CRM tools, and Business Intelligence tools will be an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related discipline.
- BTECH+MBA candidate preference
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Data Analytics, Operations or Systems.
