About the Role
Criclive.in is a dedicated cricket platform offering the fastest live, ball-by-ball commentary, sharp features, in-depth articles, and breaking news. It also hosts a discussion page for fans.
This is a full-time, on-site Backend Web Developer role based in Janakpuri. The developer will design, build, and maintain server-side applications and APIs for Criclive.in’s features.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain server-side applications and APIs.
- Implement scalable data models.
- Optimize application performance.
- Ensure reliable integration with front-end interfaces.
- Maintain security and data integrity.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and content teams to support new features, troubleshoot issues, and improve site reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of the development workflow.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in at least one backend language or framework (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, PHP/Laravel, or similar).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with version control systems (such as Git).
- Experience with deployment on common hosting or cloud platforms.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming.
- Experience in Web Development, including API integration and working with databases and web servers.
- Basic understanding of Front-End Development for effective collaboration.
- Exposure to Web Design principles for user-friendly interfaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in cricket and sports media is a plus.
