About the Role
Develop the services and integrations behind QBYSS’s internal applications and business workflows. You’ll work with APIs, databases, and application logic to make information reliable and accessible to authorized users.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain APIs and backend services for defined requirements.
- Design database queries and support clean, consistent data handling.
- Implement validation, authentication, and appropriate access controls.
- Investigate errors and improve logging, performance, and reliability.
- Write tests and documentation and collaborate on code reviews and releases.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or another backend language.
- Understanding of HTTP APIs, relational databases, and basic security principles.
- Experience using Git and debugging applications.
- Projects demonstrating backend functionality and clear code organization.
Useful but not essential:
- Experience with FastAPI, Django, Node.js, or a similar framework.
- Exposure to cloud deployment, containers, or automated testing.
Qualifications
- Recent graduates and early-career applicants are encouraged to apply.
