Frontend Developer

About the Role

Create clear, responsive interfaces for QBYSS's website and internal web tools. Turn requirements and designs into accessible pages that help colleagues and external audiences find information and complete tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive pages and reusable interface components.
• Connect interfaces to APIs and handle loading, empty and error states.
• Improve accessibility, browser compatibility and page performance.
• Investigate interface bugs and incorporate user feedback.
• Use version control and document changes for review and release.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with a modern frontend framework demonstrated through projects.
• Understanding of responsive design, API integration and basic accessibility.
• Attention to detail and ability to collaborate with designers and developers.

Useful but not essential:

• Experience with React, automated UI tests or design systems.
• A portfolio of deployed websites or web applications.
