About the Role
Alignerr is seeking biology experts to train and evaluate AI models for leading AI research labs. Your scientific knowledge will directly influence how AI solves complex biological problems, impacting the future of science and technology. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role, fitting around your schedule. No prior AI experience is required.

What You'll Do
- Design rigorous, advanced biology questions to test and challenge AI performance.
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with logically sound reasoning.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy and quality of reasoning.
- Identify gaps, errors, and weaknesses in AI outputs across biology domains.
- Collaborate with research teams to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Masters-level biology topics.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or holding a Masters degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
- Strong scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills across advanced biology domains.
- Able to communicate complex concepts clearly and precisely in writing.
- Comfortable providing structured, critical feedback.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- No prior AI experience required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or research benchmarking.
- Familiarity with molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, or related specializations.
- Background in academic writing or scientific peer review.
