About the Role

PDPO Club is a non-profit community founded in 2016 that supports Personal Data Protection Officers through peer learning and professional collaboration. This internship Content Writer role is a hybrid position based in the Greater Delhi Area, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and publish web content for articles, blogs, newsletters, and community resources focused on data protection topics.
• Research industry developments.
• Interview community members or experts when needed.
• Transform complex regulatory information into clear, accessible content.
• Support content planning.
• Maintain consistency with the organization’s tone and style.
• Proofread materials for accuracy and clarity.
• Align content with PDPO Club’s mission and communication goals.

Qualifications

• Strong Web Content Writing and Writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in clear, reader-friendly language.
• Ability to contribute to Content Strategy and plan structured content calendars aligned with organizational goals.
• Proficiency in Research to gather, interpret, and synthesize information from regulatory documents, articles, and expert sources.
• Attention to detail in Proofreading, ensuring grammatical accuracy, coherence, and consistency across all materials.
• Excellent command of written English and solid understanding of basic content formatting for web and social media.
• Interest in data protection, privacy, compliance, or related legal/regulatory topics; prior exposure is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and comfort working in a hybrid setup in the Greater Delhi Area.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Law, or a related field is preferred.
