About the Role

The Barista role at Manchi.co is a full-time, on-site position located in Haldwani.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages.
• Assist with basic food preparation in line with company recipes and hygiene standards.
• Take orders.
• Operate coffee equipment.
• Maintain product quality.
• Ensure the service area is clean and well-stocked.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer questions about menu items.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Work closely with the team to support smooth operations during peak hours.
• Contribute to an overall positive guest experience.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Barista skills: basic coffee preparation, beverage crafting, safe equipment handling.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Clear communication skills.
• Fundamental food preparation skills.
• Understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
• Prior experience in a café or restaurant setting (beneficial).
• Ability to stand for extended periods (beneficial).
• Basic cash-handling or POS experience (beneficial).
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays (beneficial).
