About the Role

Atean Healthcare Solutions is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented freshers to join their Medical Billing team as Charge Entry Executives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to begin a career in the US healthcare and medical billing industry, focusing on accurate and efficient entry of patient and medical service details into the billing system.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter patient, provider, and medical service details accurately into the billing system.
• Review medical billing documents to ensure all required information is available before processing.
• Enter charges based on medical records, superbills, and other supporting documents.
• Verify patient demographics, dates of service, procedure codes, and other relevant billing information.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of charge entry before submitting claims for further processing.
• Identify missing information or discrepancies and report them to the concerned team leader.
• Maintain data accuracy and meet daily productivity and quality targets.
• Follow company procedures, client guidelines, and data confidentiality requirements.
• Coordinate with team members and supervisors to resolve billing-related queries.
• Learn and follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) of the medical billing process.

Qualifications

• Any undergraduate or graduate degree from a recognized institution.

• Strong attention to detail and data entry skills.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn medical billing processes and healthcare terminology.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and meet assigned deadlines.
• Good time management and organizational skills.

• Prior experience in medical billing is not mandatory.
• Candidates must be willing to undergo training in medical billing and charge entry procedures.
