About the Role
The Prompt Engineer Intern role is a full-time, on-site position. The intern will design, test, and refine prompts for AI models to improve accuracy, relevance, and user experience across various applications. This role offers hands-on experience with AI tools and workflows in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze user needs.
- Draft and iterate prompt templates.
- Run experiments.
- Document results.
- Collaborate with software engineers and product teams.
- Maintain prompt libraries.
- Contribute to guidelines and best practices.
- Support troubleshooting and optimization of AI-driven features.
Qualifications
- Ability to design clear, structured prompts and write concise, user-focused content for AI interactions.
- Strong analytical and research skills to experiment with prompts, interpret model responses, and iterate based on data.
- Basic understanding of AI or machine learning concepts, and familiarity with common AI tools or large language models.
- Comfort working with structured information (e.g., templates, documentation, versioned content) and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.
- Interest in human–computer interaction, UX writing, or conversation design is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to learn, experiment, receive feedback, and adapt in a fast-evolving AI technology environment.
