About the Role

The Coordinator of Volunteers at GRUPO LF is a part-time remote role responsible for organizing, supporting, and retaining a diverse group of volunteers.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering volunteer training sessions.
• Assigning roles based on skills and interests.
• Maintaining accurate volunteer records.
• Fostering strong relationships with volunteers through regular communication, feedback, and recognition initiatives.
• Collaborating with internal teams to identify volunteer needs.
• Coordinating community outreach activities to attract and engage new volunteers.
• Proactive problem-solving.
• Clear documentation.
• Consistent follow-up to ensure an effective and inclusive volunteer program.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage all aspects of Volunteer Management, including scheduling, onboarding, and retention.
• Experience in Volunteer Training, designing and delivering clear, engaging training materials and sessions.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust and rapport with diverse volunteers and stakeholders.
• Background in Community Outreach, with experience promoting programs and engaging new volunteers.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, especially in remote or distributed team environments.
• Comfort with basic digital tools.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Prior experience coordinating volunteers, community programs, or nonprofit initiatives is preferred but not required.
