About the Role
The intern will support the avionics and systems engineering teams in developing IoT-based connectivity and telemetry infrastructure for the aerostat and ground systems.
Key Responsibilities

IoT System Development
-
Assist in design of IoT architecture for aerostat telemetry.

Support integration of IoT sensors and edge devices.

Work on cloud connectivity and data ingestion pipelines.

Develop dashboards for real-time monitoring.

Embedded IoT Programming

Program IoT devices using Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi.

Implement MQTT, HTTP, and LoRaWAN protocols.

Work on Over-The-Air (OTA) update mechanisms.

Testing & Deployment
-
Support testing of IoT devices in lab and field conditions.

Assist in troubleshooting connectivity and data issues.

Document IoT architecture, APIs, and deployment procedures.
Requirements
- Pursuing or completed B.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with IoT platforms (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi).
- Understanding of IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP, CoAP).
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or similar).
- Programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with sensor integration and data logging.
- Interest in aerospace and high-altitude applications.
