Automation test engineer

About the Role

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Generate test execution reports and quality metrics.
• Ensure adherence to software testing best practices and quality standards.
