Intern

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Intern role located in the Pune District, supporting the engineering and production teams in day-to-day activities at Wellmax Engineering, a designer and manufacturer of industrial furnaces, ovens, and heat-treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with design documentation.
• Prepare basic technical drawings under supervision.
• Help with data collection and analysis for ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with shop-floor staff.
• Support quality checks.
• Maintain project files.
• Update records related to furnace and heat-treatment system fabrication.
• Follow safety guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Contribute to process improvements.
• Gain hands-on exposure to industrial furnace and oven manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge in mechanical or industrial engineering concepts, preferably through ongoing or completed studies in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Basic familiarity with engineering drawings and tools (e.g., CAD software, measurement instruments).
• An interest in manufacturing and heat-treatment processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in data collection, documentation, and quality-related tasks.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, supervisors, and shop-floor personnel in a team environment.
• Willingness to work on-site in the Pune District, learn from hands-on assignments, and adhere to safety and operational procedures.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to follow instructions and complete tasks within deadlines.
• Prior internship or project experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
