Assistant Video Editor

About the Role

Shubham Kamra Productions is seeking an Assistant Video Editor for a full-time hybrid position based in Rohini, with some flexibility for work from home. This role involves organizing and managing raw footage, assembling rough cuts, and assisting in the fine-tuning of edit sequences for various projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and manage raw footage.
• Assemble rough cuts of video sequences.
• Assist senior editors with fine-tuning edit sequences for projects including music videos, ad films, events, and social media content.
• Support with color correction and basic color grading.
• Perform sound syncing.
• Integrate motion graphics or titles.
• Maintain project file structures.
• Export and deliver final videos in required formats.
• Collaborate with the production team on creative direction.
• Ensure timely completion of editing tasks.
• Provide occasional on-site support during shoots for data backups and media handling.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in video production.
• Basic understanding of camera workflows and file management.
• Proficiency in video editing using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Foundational knowledge of video color grading and color correction techniques.
• Ability to work with motion graphics and graphics, including titles, lower thirds, and simple visual effects.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to follow creative direction and feedback.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Availability to work on-site in Rohini as required.
• Readiness for occasional extended hours during peak production periods.

Qualifications

• Relevant coursework, certification, or prior internship/experience in video editing or media production is preferred.
