Associate Software Engineer

About the Role

The Associate Software Engineer will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Frontend & Backend services and APIs that power BigCashWeb’s rewarded engagement platform. This is a full-time remote role where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, improve system performance, and ensure reliability and scalability of platform components.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues.
• Assist with integration of third-party services and tools.
• Refine technical requirements.
• Support continuous integration and deployment practices.
• Contribute to process and tooling improvements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Hands-on experience with Frontend & Backend Web Development for scalable, distributed systems.
• Proficiency in programming in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them in production code.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL or NoSQL), and version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of testing practices (unit, integration) and basic CI/CD workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
