Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain back-end services and web applications.
• Collaborate with team members on requirements, architecture, and technical solutions.
• Write clean, testable code.
• Review peer code.
• Debug and resolve issues.
• Improve system performance and reliability.
• Participate in agile ceremonies.
• Document technical decisions.
• Contribute to best practices, tooling, and automation across the development lifecycle.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Solid foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with Back-End Web Development and Programming, working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and related design patterns.
• Ability to write clean, tested code using modern development practices (e.g., version control, code review, CI/CD).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional or distributed teams.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containers, or microservices architectures is an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
