Junior Architect

About the Role

Beyond I Design Studio (BIDS) is seeking a curious and committed Junior Architect to join their team in Thane, Mumbai. This full-time position is open to fresh graduates who are eager to learn and grow within a design-driven architecture and interior design studio. BIDS focuses on residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects, integrating creativity, human-centric thinking, sustainability, technology, and thoughtful detailing.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in design brainstorming, conceptual sketches, architectural planning, and design development.
• Develop drawings, 3D models, elevations, sections, and architectural presentations.
• Learn to evolve concepts into technically sound working drawings and construction documentation.
• Gain experience on live construction sites, understanding materials and construction processes.
• Collaborate with senior architects, consultants, and project teams.
• Explore visualization, digital design tools, and emerging AI-assisted workflows.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and presentation tools.
• An eye for proportion, composition, materials, and detailing.
• Enthusiasm for learning both creative and technical aspects of architecture.
• Enjoyment of teamwork, open conversations, constructive feedback, and problem-solving.
• Takes ownership of work and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of additional design software is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.

• Location: Thane, Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Candidates residing in Thane, Mumbai, and nearby MMR locations will be preferred.
